Lloyd's

koucou review

Lloyd’s on Anguilla is an absolutely fantastic budget property. It’s well run, friendly, spotless, and downright homey. Some rooms are cheerfully bright—we opted for aquamarine-hued quarters under a "sea and surf" theme—and the staff so personable you may just find yourself ready to board for an extended period.

You wouldn't be alone in wanting to spend a month or more at the friendly inn. Lloyd’s is a very special place, the sort of inexpensive guesthouse that has earned a serious fan base over the years. A steady stream of regular guests choose to spend the night here, some signing on for extended stays. The clientele includes lots of guests from the Caribbean as well as points farther afield. Book far ahead during the winter.

It’s easy to get the impression from travel stories about Anguilla that there’s no way to visit the little island without cleaning out your savings account. While Anguilla is undeniably expensive, Lloyd’s offers exceptional value in a vastly overpriced market. Lloyd's is highly, highly recommended.
