While Aruba certainly has its share of pricey, luxury resorts, there are gorgeous and affordable gems around, even in those areas of the island otherwise dominated by outrageously priced hotels. As can be expected, the properties nearest the beach are the priciest, but there are bargains to be had in a number of hotels along Palm Beach and Eagle Beach, with less expensive rooms hovering around the $120 range.
Location, as you might expect, is the key. Rates drop substantially as you move inland, where most of the accommodations—many of them in the form of adorable, homey apartments and suites—average around $100, with several even less expensive.
The best deals can be found during off-season (mid-April to mid-December). Rates shoot up from just before Christmas through early April.
